The Beauty of Philanthropy is a grassroots program created by The McDougle Family Foundation a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit, charitable organization and Beauty Anatomy Institute of Cosmetology and Wellness.
The Beauty of Philanthropy brings together local charities and professionals in the Beauty, Wellness and Fashion Industry to “Do Something Beautiful” for for disadvantaged teens in efforts to help boost their self esteem by providing basic grooming services, products, self esteem boosting experiences workshops and scholarships., in efforts to help overcome low self esteem and help them realize their full potential.
Our Vision is to create real connections with young women in need by empowering them to look and feel good about themselves and their community.
The BOP (Beauty of Philanthropy) is dedicated to filling the basic beauty needs of at risk youth in our community; our commitment is based on the lack of funding and activities that are available to assist young people that have no to little parental guidance with achieving a stronger sense of self.
Our activities will center on assisting youth with everyday needs such as under wear, clothing items for school, basic physical grooming, dental assistance, health and wellness workshops in combination with strong mentorship and self esteem workshop.
It is the belief of this collaboration is assist young people with pulling the beauty from within and helping them to see the beauty in the world.
